Project DescriptionAn assignment in Experiential Design course at Seneca College aimed at branding mock event for a famous architect of our choice. The idea was to graphically translate any buildings or translate the essence of the architects work into visual elements that could be used consistently across print media like large-scale signage, banners, letter invites and public transportation ad placement.
I chose Frank Gehry just for the sheer challenge. It was very difficult to reduce his work into an identifying icon or shape or mark, so I decided to graphically translate one his most famous buildings, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.
I chose Black, Yellow and White for a stark contrast that emphasizes the wildness and seemingly perpetual contemporaneity of his structures.
