Brand Positioning

Cobbletown is a luxurious new condominium development to be located in the heart of Toronto’s Distillery District. The brand must effectively target affluent audiences while evoking a sense of luxury and elegance.

“History Comes Alive at The Distillery District”

The logo design and promotional print materials, made from scratch, were designed to harness the charming elements of the Distillery Districts’ rustic, old-world look and feel. Copperplate typeface is used for the logo and promo material headings to emphasize elegant strength while playing off similar aesthetics found in the neighbouring brewery and distillery industries.

A micro-website was built to tie in the graphic motifs found within the branding. It is designed to echo content from the brochure and to provide a link to the brochure via PDF.

The branding solution effectively uses colorized stock photography to carry out the brands’ dusky blue – recalling a sense of nightlife, tranquility and mystery – throughout the brochure, website and magazine ad, while employing elegant graphic elements and complementary type treatments to create a cohesive visual experience.
